City Life Church Luton
City Life Church Luton started meeting in September 2006. The origins of the church go much further back, and drew together support from a number of different sources. In 2010 we became a registered charity (no. 1138113)
Leadership
City Life Church Luton is lead by Fiona Green who convenes a leadership team of five. They are joined by the small group leaders to form a wider leadership team of ten. The role of the leadership team is one of helping the whole church community to best express and outwork the vision that we share. They are:
Support & Oversight
The church benefits from being part of a wider family of churches known as Plumbline. Plumbline is an organisation committed to starting, developing and encouraging churches all around the world.
As a registered charity we have a board of four trustees, who are legally responsible for the church. These include Tim Anderson, team leader at City Life Church, Cambridge.
Our community was first formed by a group of people from CLC Cambridge, and we retain strong links with that community, including guidance and oversight from Tim.
Other links
We are a part of the Fusion network of churches, which seek to develop mission activity in universities. We encourage students in our church to form Fusion cell groups, to utilise the resources that Fusion provides and connect with students around the country.
We give to LCET, Azalea, Plumbline, Fusion and - through our members - into a number of different of different initiatives and charities.
