Our City Life Church gathering is all about being inspired to worship God.

Telling Stories

We take inspiration to live lives of faith from our experience of God and the stories we hear of His goodness. In our City Life Church gathering we share those stories of God’s movements - as charted in the pages of the Bible and the tales of human lives changed - and draw back to the Author they reveal.

Worshiping God

When we find ourselves inspired to faith in God, through the experience of his love, our instinctive response to is to give Him praise. At this gathering we create space to respond to God’s movement in our lives and the world by worshiping Him.

We recognise that just as becoming wrapped up in God’s story is something we experience in our whole lives, and not just on Sunday, so it is with worship: our time together is the start point for a life lived to glorify God.

This Year

This year we are looking at the idea of 'Called and Sent' - the way in which God calls us to His love and and sends us to love His world. We’ll be using the stories from the Bible and inviting along some wonderful speakers to explore the drama of this great and mysterious love mission. We’ll look at 4 great callings and sendings over the year:

Called to be Blessed, Sent to be a Blessing – Abraham and Us

Called to be Redeemed, Sent for Redemptive Living – Moses and Us

Called to Hear, Sent to Speak – Judges, Kings, Prophets & Us

Called to be Disciples, Sent to be Apostles – Jesus and Us
