Service of the Shadows (or 'Tenebrae')
The Tenebrae service, meaning ‘shadows’, was a part of the traditional Catholic Holy Week. This version, which makes no claim to be authentic to that tradition, was written by Jeremy Williams in 2006. You can find a copy of the reading here: https://docs.google.com/a/loveluton.org/document/d/1eoxPerrJrfHxG0J_Bwdu85pkMCnApAAc3hSrlCOuJMg/edit?usp=sharing
There will now be two versions but neither of them will be edited for children - it's a bit intense and to make it child friendly is a big task. However, there will be two readings at 5.30pm and 8.30pm.
If you have children and want resources for the Easter weekend, you can access four videos in this dropbox folder of The Last Supper, Garden of Gethsemane, Crucifixion and Resurrection: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/cpexmh3itzdl29d/AAD30gJg_ZsLyXjG7Bl_235Za?dl=0
